During their stay in Shenzhen, the delegations participated in a themed event on cultural and economic exchanges between Shenzhen and Spain at Bao’an International Airport, which included the opening of the world’s largest ham chain, Enrique Tomás’ first local store at the airport.

They visited local enterprises such as BYD, Huawei, and Mindray, toured landmarks including the Ping An International Finance Center and the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning, and learned about the city’s sustainable development and smart urban governance efforts at Shenzhen Bus Group’s Antuo Hill Depot and the city’s emergency management and government service command centers.

Additionally, the delegations explored cooperation opportunities in Pingshan, Qianhai, Dapeng and Longhua.
